Love in the rain

Some say love is brace of emotion which starts at a moment and change the life of human.

This story comes deep from my heart and again as I normally say before writing each of my fiction that it’s only a fiction nothing more.

The story is about two office colleagues Ryan Rao and Kanak Urs. Ryan and Kanak use to work for Hypermedia Inc at Bangalore. Both were engineers by profession and were part of same team. Ryan although a senior for kanak was more a friend. Sam was Senior Team lead for the team and Mir used to work in the same team under Ryan.

Ryan was a friendly guy who was basically a South Indian guy but was born and bought up in North India. Kanak was a typical North Karnataka girl. Karnataka is divided into two major portions North Karnataka(NK) and South Karnataka(SK).

Well to start off, Ryan joins the team of Mir, Sam and Kanak. There was plenty of work assigned to Sam and Sam asked for a resource to his manager which led to Ryan joining the team.

Ryan was introduced to his new team my Sam’s manager and Sam was asked to share the work with Ryan. Ryan introduced himself with Sam and Mir and turned towards Kanak to say Hi. Kanak responded with a small Hello.

Ryan was quick to ask whether you belong to NK.

Kanak responded with smile saying How come you came to know?

Ryan had already hit the Bulls Eye

A quick discussion with Sam on responsibilities in project followed by a tea was a warm welcome for Ryan in the Team. Ryan started working in team and was working on some independent module and use to help Mir and Kanak in their complex day to day tasks. Mir became friend to Ryan and they used to hang out together on tea breaks. Kanak started hating that and one day she openly blasted Mir asking why don’t you call me for tea and soon Kanak also became a tea partner.

It was month of December around 22nd I guess when one day the team had to deliver a lot of deliverables before going for holidays. The clock had already struck 8:00PM but still there was no sign of work getting over. Ryan asked Kanak to leave for the day and asked Mir to stay . Kanak refused saying that she will also stay with us to finish off the task. Sam ordered couple of pizza’s and the work continued till 11:00. The project was in a good shape but it was too late for the team. Sam contacted to Travel desk for cab but the cab’s were not available.

Sam asked Ryan to drop Kanak to her house on his bike and asked Mir if he can stay at his place. Mir was fine with the same. It was already 11:30 when Ryan pressed the self-start button and vroomed his bike from office parking. Kanak was bit scared to sit behind a guy, guess she was first time sitting on someone’s bike.
By the time they had crossed ITPL rain started. It was already late and temperature being cold, Ryan decides that he will drop Kanak then only will stop for a tea. Within minutes both were drenched and Ryan stopped the bike near a so called Tea shop. Ryan couldn’t resist watching Kanak while having a sip of tea. Kanak was already wet and droplets of water falling from her hair made her look prettier than how she was. Kanak caught Ryan staring at her and asked what you are looking at. Ryan lied like a nerd engineer saying that I am thinking about one of the defects in the code. It was an early sense for Kanak that Ryan has started falling in love. Although Kanak holding bars behind the pillion seat on bike Ryan took a quick view of her in rear mirror and asked are you comfortable?

Kanak replied I am fine……

Days went on and the project went Live in middle Sam had left the org and Ryan was assigned the lead role before the crucial release. Ryan had slowly built his reputation in the org and had almost replaced Sam. Kanak and Ryan were more than friends.

Somewhere deep in the heart Kanak had fallen in love with Ryan but feared that she will lose friendship with Ryan if she expressed her emotions.

It was in month of March when Ryan and Kanak left for home and rain started again. Kanak was holding Ryan shoulders. Ryan asked Kanak whether to stop the bike. Kanak in reply asked Ryan to turn the bike on NH 7 for a long drive. Ryan pressed brake suddenly and asked Kanak have you gone Mad!!!!
Kanak asked Ryan to continue drive bike on NH7. Ryan followed like a puppet and after driving across the city limit Ryan stopped the bike near a corn vendor. It was outside city and not many people were visible on roads being a weekday. Kanak removed her sandal and started dancing on road like a peacock dancing in rain. Ryan also loved it but Kanak was the person who was enjoyed the most.

Kanak came and jumped into Ryan’s arm and staring at earth expressed her feeling for Ryan. Ryan tears were visible in Rain when he accepted his proposal by kissing her on forehead.

There is more to write about their breakup which I will write some other day with a heavy heart.

Desire for Love

Love is the pure form of worship that exist between two people. Its not a commitment but its a feeling that is developed between human beings. It is the feeling that is not only generated in human body but also among all every living being on earth. It is a feeling which is developed without any condition and without any prerequisites. It does not depend on caste, creed, sex and religion.

As described by many people it is feelings that come and go in heart due to some ongoing activities in day to day life.

Love and meaning differs from person to person and there is no fixed definitions but the love songs across the decades have the same feeling in them.

Cases and stages vary from person to person. For some person it still the love and for some its a status symbol.

Here comes one more fictitious story from my heart ;)

It was Monday, dressed in formal i entered office, opened outlook and saw a mail from my manager asking him to join me for a face 2 face meeting at 2 PM. I was surprised and spoke to my colleague, one of them updated me that it's a face 2 face meeting to release the extra burden from project by releasing the resource. I was frightened to know that I was the first person to be called for meeting but someone confirmed me that it happened to other team members also last week. I was lill happy to know that I was not the first but l'ill frightened too. Had some sandwich and lot of water as my lunch as reached on seat within 15 mins.

It was already 3:00 PM and manager didnt call me for meeting, l'ill anxious I only asked manager about the meeting. Manager was surprised and happy that I reminded him about the meeting. Meeting was normal about my future plans and future hopes but I was released from from project within a week. I went and asked my team architect that am I so technically bad that I am the first resource to get release from the project.

He replied "Dan ki Bachiya ke daat nahi gine jaate.".....I didn’t get it and left the project my team, my friends for a new journey ahead. Manager had confirmed me that he will get me an onsite opportunity once I get relieved from my project. Two days later I got a call from one of the Resource manager about one Australian opportunity for a month. All dreams started flowing in my mind again fighting each other for their priorities. It was about to be a short term opportunities with lot of dreams.

Dreams got shattered with the call held next day. My skills didnt match their pre-requistes and to fullfil the opportunity my frd was asked to change resume and travel to Australia. Again I went to Mr Murthy(team-Architect) and asked me why again this happened to me?

He replied "Dan ki Bachiya ke daat nahi gine jaate.".....

Again with sore heavy heart I left for a new journey. I got a call from one of the US oil majors and without any second thought I said yes.

It was again Monday and whole week had changed my career and my dreams at my Indian major IT company. I called my new manager at SBC oils and asked him about the time to report and he answered in a more Parody way

"Tumhare hain joro se intezar. Jaldi aa jao mere yaar.

Kaam hain halka fulka. par hume laga hain zoro ka jhatka."

I got to my need, wishing good bye to all old team mates i went for SBC oils. Reached 8th floor took 2 rounds of the whole floor to search the ODC.

I called Manager from outside and he came from inside. Again he started laughing and his parody.

"Aa gaye tum mere yaar. Jaldi lagao apni jugad."

I greeted him and went inside with him. He introduced me with a team of 3 members. We greeted each other and I shared more details about me. There was a gal in that team who was sitting silent and staring at me. I asked her wat is your name?

She replied Raiyna Rao….

My next question was are you from north Karnataka?

She replied yes…

She asked me how do I know? I was happy to see her talking. It was like my wild guess her being hailing from north Karnataka…I replied just guessed…

We all 4 team member started gelling with each other and soon our task were shared. I being new team member was taking KT from everyone. KT was always boring and that too when you have to take in summer after lunch…..

We all became friends and soon came to know about other frds from ODC. It was Autumn when we were overloaded with work and I became Senior to Raiyna. Raiyna was assigned to work with me on certain section. Infact she was learning more from me. I noticed that Raiyna never interacted much with the existing team lead. My detective spirit got up and found out that Raiyna struggled during her early days in industry and had faced hard days with reference to work and was got scolded.

I went to project manager and discussed with him on the same. He gave me an additional responsibility to bring her up to the mark. It was a tough task for me and was happy to be assigned such a role. I tried to find much about her and came to know that she is a crying doll.

To be continued...........

Appraisal interview with Manager

Camel ride of share market

Sensex ek ankon ka khel hain
Har cheez isme gol matol hain

Kabhi niche kabhi upar
Kaisa hain ye chakkar

Kisi ki jeb khali
To kisi ko mil gayi hariyali

Lal aur hare rang ka khel
Par kisi aur se nahi khata mel

Hain isme itna confusion
Hain full of tension.

Dividend, bonus, IPO, Share ka hain business
Par kam hi deta hain success.

Kehte hain Hathi ki matwali chal
Par hamesha ghira rehta hain rango se lal

Kehlata hain wheel of fortune.
Mere liye hamesha raha misfortune.

Jis share main maine lagaya wo kabhi bad na paya
Market hamesha badta raha, mera share girta raha
Kabhi mara long jump, to kabhi short jump.
Par hamesha mujhe milta goosebump

Socha ki takdir banaunga, apni kismet chamkaunga, dosto ko aish karunga
Par jo paya wo sab dusre share mein gawaya

Ride in BMTC: Hebbal to Majestic via Malleshwaram

The song "Musafir hun yaaro" of "Parichay" movie being played on Radio One
today made me write the post on this topic. My friends have always been helping me out with new topics but sometime some topics are so interrelated to each other that made me two combine two topics together. Thanks to Shlok for suggesting me the catchy topic.

Frds, again This is a fictional stories based on my Imagination.

This incident happened in Bangalore when I was a newbie here. One weekend morning I got up early. I had nothing to do. Logged into Orkut. Orkut use to be popular during those days and no one in my group had heard about other social networking site as Facebook. I checked my useless scraps. There was no useful scrap. The only Scrap we use to get from our friends was "Hi, How are you?". This was the limited conversation generally we use use to have on orkut.

Yes, where was I?

Ya, I got up early on one of the weekend. I was standing outside in my gallery and was waiting for my other roomates to getup. I was having tea at that time. I realized that someone kept his hand on my shoulder from back. It was shlok.

Me: Wat man. You scared me..
Shlok: Chacha, Just a good morning wish....

Shlok: Wats your plan for the day?
Me: Nothing much. Need to meet few relatives.

Shlok: Which place?
Me: Basvangudi. Leave it, I know your next question would be "Where it is?".
It's near to Jayanagar.

Jayanaga was quite a famous shopping area in Bangalore. My roommates didn't had much idea about Bangalore. We were new in Bangalore.

Shlok: Which Way you will go.
Me: via majestic.

Shlok:I have to go to Malleshwaram for en quiring about Time Institute.
Me: Ok. But I will go in evening.
Shlok:Ok, I will carry on.

I had never told my roomates about the short way using Mekhri Circle. I always suggested them via Majestic.

Shlok left for Malleshwaram. Its was still early morning for my other roommates. I left for Malleshwaram after half an hour.

I was very well aware with Malleshwaram market and streets.

I was standing on 17th cross Bus Stand at Malleshwaram and was sure that Shlok will never come there since he didn't knew about Bangalore much.

17th cross was a popular spot since it was main bus stop and had lot of hangout joints over there. I had came there to meet my galfrd.

We had met sometime back on internet and had become good frds by now. I had never told it to my roomates since it would have created a mess and she never liked it to be known to other....typically girlish mentality. She never preffered goingout far from home since she use to tell her mom that she is going to meet her frds next lane.

Back on track I was having coffee on one of the cafe over there with her and as expected saw Shlok entering the same cafeteria where I was.

I had no other option than run to washroom avoiding Shlok. I cameout after my frd signalled me to comeout by mobile. I was almost sweating in fear and was very happy that shlok was away.

We sat for some time and later I dropped her to home and came back to my PG. As soon as I entered home Vinayak asked me "Chacha kya majestic ki Bus malleshwaram se jaati hain?"....

I had no answer but was still guessing

"Majestic aur malleshwaram dono bagal mein hi hain" was added by Neeraj.

I was still thinking and was in dilema that how and wat happened.

Shlok blew a whistle and signalled.....

I saw a gal coming out of the other room......She was none other that Radhuni my galfrd..

It was a complete shock for me.....I still couldnt believe how come she is here.

Then later Shlok narrated the story how he saw my Fido-Dido bag on cafe table ...How he followed me and how he convinced her to give a surprise to me and my frds.......followed by a dinner at night....

Thanks Shlok for the wonderful day.
